Twelfth Night kicked off with Joan of Arc
and a streetcar full of funny fellows.
Parades start this weekend, king cake orders are being taken, costumes are being pulled from closets and attics while Indians all over town are putting the finishing touches on their new suits so they can get their fee-na-nay on.

Get your complete parade schedule here courtesy of NOLA.com and come on down to the Mardi Gras … it’s fun, it’s safe and it’s a whole lot more than boobs and beads on Bourbon St.
No really.
